Jessie was born, bred, and lived in Greetham all her life. There are many things to remember about her, but the one thing everybody will remember are her famous quintessential English tea parties held in her garden on her birthday. Although it was a tea party, there seemed to be more alcohol served than cups of tea! But that was Jessie, no half measures, and always the life and soul of the party. With her nephew Alex playing songs from the ‘good old days’ on his organ, it was always an afternoon to remember, and will stay in peoples minds for many years to come.
